Annie Lennox
Annie Lennox was born in Aberdeen Scotland on December 25 1954. Dorothy Farquharson, and Thomas Allison Lennox were her parents. Lennox, who studied for three year in the Royal Academy of Music London in 1970s, was accepted. The budget of her was augmented with a student stipend as well as part-time employment. Lennox was not content with her abilities compared to other students at the Royal Academy and began looking at other options. Lennox played flute in a band named Dragons Playground in 1976. She left the band before they appeared on I.T.V's Talent program New Faces. She sang lead for The Tourists (a British popband) from 1977-1980. The band was where she got to know Dave Stewart and together they created the duo Eurythmics. Then, Lennox began working on her first solo album Diva that was released in the year 1992. The album was hugely successful both commercially as well as critically. Nostalgia Lennox's 6th solo album came out in November of 2014. This C.D. The C.D. comprises Lennox's favorite blues, jazz, and soul songs of her youth. Lepidoptera features four keyboard tracks. The E.P. The first single from her debut album"Now I Letting You Go... is an accompaniment to her installation of artwork in the Massachusetts Museum of Contemporary Art. Annie Lennox is a Scottish musician and singer who was born on December 25th 1954. The Tourists had a minor hit in late 1970s. Lennox and Dave Stewart, a fellow musician, would go on to achieve international fame in 1980s with the Eurythmics. Lennox began her solo musical career in 1992 by releasing her debut album Diva. The album featured a variety of well-known songs, including Walking on Broken Glass and Why. Medusa the studio album released in 1995 includes cover versions of tracks including No MoreI I Love Yous and A Whiter Shade of Pale.
